| Fluffle and Bubble appear at the corner of the street with their three other siblings, who are now pointing excitedly at the party. After a short conversation, the nugget eaters go back the way they came; the fairy village probably.
The two leaders approach the party.
"Hi guys!" Bubble smiles, her eyes fixed on the teenager. "Oh, who are you?"
"Hi. I'm Amber, Mihai's sister."
"You're so cute! Can I hug your cheeks? Can I?"
"Hug my-?"
"Thank you!"
Bubble surprises Amber with a glomp; not even Breeze would be so ferocious with her hugs. Fluffle is evidently the most serious in this duo, but he's still very happy to see the party.
"Hello," he says. "You should have told us you were coming! We would have prepared a small party for you."
He then looks around, searching for someone who's not with the party right now. |

| Mihai suddenly regrets what he's about to do - "Sorry Fluffle, i'm afraid i have some bad news. Breeze was taken away by some people. We're on our way to go get her back, but we need some help." |

| Konrad cuts in quickly before Fluffle can ask where the others are. "Hey Bubble, I got you something! Here, see what it says?" |

| Steve waves to both fairies in greeting. "Good to see you guys." He waits quietly while Mihai explains the situation. |

| Bubble lets go of Amber's face to look at the object Konrad is holding up to her face; a bar of soap with her name on it. "Oh, that's awesome! I can have it, really?" Before the red mage can answer, she accepts the gift and holds it in her arms. "That's going to last me months!"
She then turns her attention to Mihai.
Fluffle listens closely to the rogue and nods. "Oh, you're playing a sort of hide and seek game? Where do we look then?"
"Yeah, we're good at that," Bubble adds, her arms wrapped around her bar of soap. |

| "Myr. But we have a problem we need to see to before that. Did Breeze get around to teaching you how to make a Love Globule?" |

"Yeah, that sounds like fun," Bubble says with a chuckle. |

| Mihai takes the Empty Orb out of his pouch and shows it to Fluffle - "It's this. Breeze makes them. They go into your head." |

| The sight of the orb, and the way the eight Elements are swirling within it, mesmerize the two fairies.
"Wow, she can do that?" Bubble asks.
"It can't go into our heads," Fluffle points out. "It's way too big." |

| "Some people got Globules some of their own, and forced them into our heads, and it's doing nasty stuff to us. We'd ask Breeze to pull them out, but... she's not available. Can you help?" |

| "Well, i'm not sure. Breeze said she just did it like the was putting her hand in a cookie jar. We're able to take them out ourselves by just reaching out and willing them into our hands. When there are two in there, though... we can't do it. Only Breeze can. That's why we're turning to you." |

| Konrad explains what it's like when he does it. "First, hold it, feel it in your hand. When you place your hand on my forehead, and then try to push in and grab the orb. Picture it in your mind, the sensation of holding it in your hand. Then, when you have it in your hand, pull it out." |

| "Oh, I see." Fluffle responds to Mihai before turning to listen to Konrad. "Okay, let me try."
He approaches the red mage and does as instructed.
"Hmm, that's strange."
"What is?" Bubble asks.
"I feel something, but it's stuck."
"Pull harder then! I think it'll work."
Fluffle nods at his sister and begins to exert more force on the invisible thread he is pulling on. He is putting in so much effort that his face starts to get red. He needs to stop and take a breather.
"...I'm sorry," he tells Konrad, dejected. "I don't think I can do it."
Bubble is so shocked that his brother couldn't do it, she doesn't even propose to try. Amber lowers her head, a little discouraged by this turn of event. |

| Konrad's cheeks tinge red with fury. "It was worth a try, and we've learned something new. And please tell the others, if anyone asks, we were never here, alright?" |

| Voyage, Narrowfist to Zest- Femke and Konrad:
Konrad finds Femke watching the fairies as they work, standing at the bow on the forecastle.
"Hello. Whimsical creatures, aren't they?"
Femke nods, her eyes fixed on the fairies. "How can I help you?"
"I'd to know more about your kind. We've got days ahead of us, plenty of time to talk about it. I might repeat something I've already asked Faith. Can you explain to me in a comprehensive manner, just what you people are?"
"No," she states.
"Oh... I'm sorry. Conan couldn't, either. He didn't know what made him different when we met him, just that he was. Is it the same for all of you?"
"You misunderstand me," she says. "...I cannot tell you about my kind because I am not allowed to."
"Really?" He frowns. "How long have the Tykes been observing the Archipelago?"
"I cannot say anything about my kind."
"How long have the humans existed?"
"Are you trying to trick me into giving you information about my kind in an indirect manner?"
Konrad shakes his head in disappointment. "How much do your people know about the six nations?"
"I've answered your question about the Duchess of Luxus. What does that tell you?"
He could sense the wall encasing her, as with constructs he met before. An opportunity to talk at length hasn't removed a single brick. "That you are up to date on current events, at least. Hmm. Do you know anything rare and private about...Luther Schmidt?"
Femke thinks for a moment. "No, I do not."
"Uh-huh. And what you shared with me about Lady Venator, how many people know that information?"
"I don't know. This is public knowledge."
"It's a lot more than any of us can say we know about you, or your leaders. You must be completely up to date on current affairs around the Archipelago, is that fair to say?"
She shrugs. "You are free to assume so."
"Oh! That's tart." He grins. "And if this is true hypothetically speaking, then hypothetically we know less about your kind and your leaders by steep contrast."
"Maybe. Maybe not. If you think too much about it however, I suspect that you will get a headache." Femke says this with a straight face.
"Well, if it maybe is true, does it seem fair to you? Your leaders are directly opposed to the Empire. Would they find no allies among others who share the same view?"
She reacts almost imperceptibly, and although he notices, the red mage cannot decipher it. "What I think does not matter. I am not allowed to share information about my kind. At least not yet."
"Oh, very well then." He sighs."Please tell them to inform me when they are ready to tell me about the Tykes."
Femke nods. "I will."
"In the meantime, perhaps you can tell me a little about yourself, instead?"
She stays silent longer than usual. "...There is not much to say."
"Oh, there's always more to say than you think! I saw you singing a couple days ago. You looked like you were enjoying yourself."
Surprised, she considers those words carefully, seemingly unable to reply.
Finally, looks like I've struck something. "There's nothing wrong with that, is there?"
"...No, there isn't," she answers, still deep in thought.
"So, what else do you enjoy?"
She listens to the question and ponders on it. "I'm not sure yet," she says. "I'm trying to find out."
"Well, what are your interests? What made you want to be in...what made you want to be a scout, if that's more than just your current role?"
"I..." In sharp contrast to her previous answers, Femke can't be as straightforward with these questions. "...I like watching people."
Konrad laughs. "Is it because people do the weirdest and dumbest things when they think no one's looking?"
She tilts her head. "No. It's because they know what to do and where to go."
He squints. "Don't you?"
Direct and to the point, Femke's tone shifts to that before. "I do."
"Oh. well, keep thinking about why you do. Or don't, I wouldn't want to give you a headache," he jokes. Come on, where's that smile?
She lowers her head and replies, "Thank you for your advice."
Konrad almost makes a double take. She's blushing! He smiles to himself. "You're welcome. I do need to ask if you know anything else about Duchess Isidora Venator."
He pulls out the original letter from Emerald. "This letter mentions an attempt on her life, but it says nothing about whether she's this 'Enemy' Edward and his rogues are trying to thwart. Do you know anything about this?"
Femke takes a moment to focus on this new matter, observes it for a moment and says, "Not this in particular. You seem to know more about this situation than me."
He takes the letter back. "Before we go on, I have to know, are we being observed by anyone other than our crew? And that fox?"
"No," she answers. "Not to my knowledge. I am observing your group however."
"Huh. I think it may be best if we don't talk about it for now."
She studies Konrad's expression, and replies, "Understood."
Konrad folds up a whole sheet of parchment, and begins to concentrate strongly on it, weaving something neither of them are able to see without unfolding the sheet. Finally, he is done. "How good is your eyesight in the dark?"
"...Good enough," she answers, betraying her curiosity.
It doesn't go beyond his notice that she answered without giving away exactly how good her vision is. He hands her the folded sheet. "Go somewhere no one else can read this."
She slowly nods. "Understood."
I hope it was enough to get the full meaning across, he thinks to himself, as he returns to where he sat previously, resuming his weaving.
The message in the folded paper is this:
"Edward" is Edwin Reeves Grandmaster of the Coins Edwin is just a vessel He has our friends

| Bubble grins at Mihai. "Oh, the others are coming back soon," she explains. "They're just trying to find the biggest basket we have to put the nuggets in."
Fluffle listens carefully to Konrad and nods. "I'll try to convince the others not to blab too much about your visit." He then turns his attention to Steve and tilts his head. "Wait, what kind of game are you playing exactly? Can't she just come out now if you need her to?" |
